Chairs

The Faculty has currently three chairs in Engineering

  • ArcelorMittal Chair of Steel Construction

    The Chair was created in 2010 for education and research purposes in steel construction.

  • Paul Wurth Chair of Energy Process Engineering

    Launched in 2021, the Paul Wurth Chair works in collaboration with industry, government and research partners to drive the development of green hydrogen solutions.

  • CERATIZIT Chair in Hard and Advanced Materials

    The Chair was established in July 2025 to promote education and research in pioneering materials and manufacturing technologies.

The project “Securing Time Critical Traffic in next generation Automotive Networks (SETICA)“ builds on practical application scenario input of a car manufacturer to address open research questions in the field of security-enabled Time-Sensitive-Networking (TSN).
