The University is multilingual and welcomes students, researchers and professors from all over the world.
Student mobility is strongly promoted. All Bachelor students must complete a semester abroad, and many exchange opportunities are also on offer for Master and doctoral students. For the latter, there is in particular the possibility of a joint supervision of thesis (cotutelle) with a university abroad.
A series of academic agreements with partner universities throughout Europe and worldwide contribute to the promotion of student mobility. Many agreements also provide for exchanges between academic staff and joint research projects.
In addition to academic partnerships, the University also develops its research activities in partnership with industry and has strategic partnerships with national and international public institutions. These partnerships give the University an insight into industrial and societal challenges that increasingly require interdisciplinary and intersectoral approaches.
