Re-enrolment
You must re-enrol at the University each semester. All students must re-enrol in their programme and, if applicable, in the study track in which they were previously enrolled (Art. 12 of the Study Regulations).
Re-enrolments will not be validated in the following situations:
- If you fail to submit compulsory documents (health insurance, entry in the register of certificates, residence permit, etc.)
- If you have exceeded the maximum duration of studies (Art. 30 of the Study Regulations)
- If you have made insufficient progress in your studies (Art. 19 of the Study Regulations)
The invoice for enrolment fees cannot be sent if the student’s file is not up to date (for example because no grade has been entered in the Student Management System, the student’s social security card or residence permit has expired, the student has failed to submit a diploma recognition document, etc.). Once the file has been updated, the payment letter will be sent automatically.
Students must re-enroll in the Admissions Portal (see links below) using the student number they were given when they first enrolled.
Please note: The student number is valid for life and is linked to the student’s academic career. If a student changes degree programme or has not attended courses at the University of Luxembourg for a given period, she/he must, without fail, use the student number issued upon his or her first registration.
If you need to send us additional documents in order to update your file when re-enrolling, please log in to the Admissions Platform using your student ID number and upload the required documents. If you require to send us additional documents to complete your file during the rest of the academic year, please log in to the Student Service Portal using your student ID number and select “Administration” then “Re-enrolment”.
