The Bachelor en Formation Pédagogique prepares students already in possession of a Bachelor degree in another domain for a rewarding career in teaching in the Luxembourgish fundamental schools (cycle 2-4).

The Bachelor en Formation Pédagogique provides students with the pedagogical and didactical skills necessary to meet the challenges of Luxembourg’s multilingual and multicultural school environment.
The one-year program is open to students who already hold a bachelor’s degree in an education-related field, offering them an additional qualification.

What do we offer students?
Problem-based and project-based learning approaches
Students carry out their own theoretical and practical project in one of the fields related to education:
- language learning
- mathematics
- sciences
- arts and aesthetics
- sports and health
Students are encouraged to adopt an attitude of self-reflection and engage in a process of continuous learning.
A practical and hands-on education:
During both semesters, students have to complete internships. They gain valuable teaching experience and learn how to develop and implement their own teaching intervention in real-life class situations taking into account pupils’ individual resources and socio-cultural backgrounds.
