Specific information for this programme

  • Required Degree

    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (180 ECTS) in humanities, preferably in philology.

  • Language Skills

    German C1 level (CEFR). Knowledge of French and/or English is required.

    In addition to the documents required for the enrolment at the University of Luxembourg, students need to submit the following documents:

    The ideal candidate

    Application and enrolment are possible at the University of Luxembourg or the University of Trier. The university of enrolment is then considered the ‘home university’.

    The application requirements depend on the regulations of the respective university.

    Enrolment for the winter semester and the summer semester is possible each academic year.
