Courses are taught in just one of these languages, with most courses taught in German (60-65%).

    • Your “Diplôme de fin d’études secondaires” or an equivalent diploma
    • You may also upload additional documents in support of a positive assessment of your application (e.g., references, additional certificates).

    Step 1: Online registration
Your application for the BAP will be handled via the admission platform of the University of Luxembourg. You must register online in compliance with the above-mentioned deadlines.

    Languages
As you know, you are applying for a trilingual degree programme. Therefore, you can use the German language and/or the French language and the English language for the letter of motivation:

    • You can write a monolingual letter of motivation – in this case, please write either in German or in French.
    • You also have the option of writing a bilingual letter of motivation (German/French, German/English; French/English).
    • Or you can write a trilingual letter of motivation (German/French/English).

A letter of motivation written exclusively in English will not be accepted.

    Text length
The letter of motivation should be at least 1,000 and a maximum of 2,000 words in length.

  • Criteria

When evaluating your application, your educational background and your motivation letter will be considered. Your educational background will account for 40%, and your motivation letter will account for 60% of the overall evaluation. Therefore, the motivation letter has a greater impact on the evaluation than the educational background.

  • The ideal candidate

Ideally, applicants have informed themselves comprehensively about the study of psychology. They are not only aware that psychology is an empirical science, but they are also looking forward to dealing intensively with scientific research methods. Please also check our tips under “Aptitude“.
