Why study with us?
We engage with the past in many ways, through historiographies, schools, museums, monuments, TV and Radio, or social media. The Master offers a unique training opportunity to decode and take part in how history production is becoming more digital and public. Students learn and practice digital and public history through projects in collaboration with our network of local and international partners

What do we offer our students?
Practice-based learning
The Master combines a theoretical and hands-on approach. Through reflective practices implemented in projects, workshops, and an internship, students acquire the theoretical and practical skills necessary to conceive, produce, and evaluate digital and public history. We prepares student for careers in digital and public history as well as for further doctoral studies
International collaborations
Headquarters of the International Federation for Public History, the University offers a privileged international framework. Students can apply for an exchange semester at Ca’Foscari University (Italy), undertake an internship with our partners, attend international workshops, and acquire transferable skills that will help them develop international careers.
The Centre for Contemporary and Digital History (C²DH)
The Master is associated to the C²DH, a unique interdisciplinary center with international excellence in digital and public history. Students will learn from international experts in digital, public, but also oral, media, and transnational history. The C²DH may also inspire further doctoral studies in digital and/or public history.
