Research project DIGITRACK Study

What is DIGITRACK?

DIGITRACK is a research study designed to improve health monitoring for older adults by combining different types of health data into a single tool. Current assessments in geriatric care often rely on isolated measures, but DIGITRACK integrates:

  • Sensor-based mobility data (e.g., gait analysis and grip strength).
  • Standard clinical evaluations (e.g., cognitive, physical, and emotional health).
  • Patient-reported outcomes (e.g., overall health perceptions).
  • Clinician-ranked health impressions (e.g., evaluations of functional ability).

The study has two components:

  1. Cross-Sectional Arm: One-time assessments for 90 participants to collect baseline health data.
  2. Longitudinal Arm: Follow-up assessments for 30 participants over a year to track changes in health.

During the DIGITRACK study, participants will visit ZithaSenior S.A. facilities for evaluations and use sensor-based tools to monitor health metrics. Follow-up visits will be conducted during routine care appointments within a one-year period.
