Specific information for this programme

  • Required Degree

    Our Master is a part-time training for those who already work (or who are unemployed but have previously worked in the field) and live in Luxembourg or the Greater Region (near the border of Luxembourg).

    Candidates for admission to the Master in Information System Security Management are required to hold:
    – Bachelor in IT or related field with three years of experience in the domain
    – Or a Master in a related field with one year of experience in the domain

    The MISSM can enrol up to 18 students per academic year.

  • Language Skills

    English: B2

    If applicants meet the entry requirements, they will be invited to an interview. Their level of English will be evaluated during the interview.

  • Other requirements

    Non-EU applicants are required to be current residents of Luxembourg and hold a valid Luxembourgish residence permit to qualify.

  • Admissions procedure

    1. Candidates are requested to submit a preselection application to missm@uni.lu – including a covering letter, CV and, if possible, a letter of support from the employer.
    2. If applicants meet the entry requirements, they will be invited to an interview. Their level of English will be evaluated during the interview.
    3. Following approval by the course directors, applicants will then be required to submit their full application via the university portal.
  • Fees

    The total fee for the Master is 6400€ (1600€/semester), including registration at the University of Luxembourg. This amount includes the cost of the coaching during the period corresponding to the professional project, the handling of legal contracts, and the student memorandum.
