To apply for a programme at the University of Luxembourg, candidates must comply with the general eligibility criteria for the chosen programme type and be selected by the study programme based on the quality of their application.

Required Degree
Candidates for direct entry to Year 2 (Master 2 level) are required to hold a:
– Bachelor (180 ETCS or above) in IT or related field, with three years of experience in the domain or
– Master in a related field, with one year of experience in the domain.EU applicants must live/work in Luxembourg or the Greater Region (near the border of Luxembourg). Non-EU applicants must live/work in Luxembourg.
If your university diploma is not recognised under the Bologna Framework, you will also need to submit a recognition certificate issued by the Ministry of Research and Higher Education in Luxembourg.

An interview is part of the admission process to assess candidates’ motivation, current level, and understanding of the programme’s expectations.

Requirements for Non-EU candidates
Non-EU applicants must be current residents of Luxembourg and hold a valid Luxembourg residence permit at the time of application.

Programme structure Year 1: Full-time
OPTIONAL – Only required if candidates do not meet the direct entry requirement for Year 2.
Year 1 – 60 ETCS: Classes take place from Monday to Friday.

Programme structure Year 2 & 3: Part-time
Our professional Master is a part-time training for those who already work (or who are unemployed but have previously worked in the field) .
Year 2 – 30 ETCS: Classes take place every two weeks on Fridays and Saturdays (9:00-12:15 and 13:30-16:45).
Year 3 – 30 ETCS: Classes take place every two weeks on Fridays and Saturdays (9:00-12:15 and 13:30-16:45).

The programme starts in September.

Timetable
The final timetable will be shared with students at the start of the semester.

Tuition fees
The fees are 1600€ per semester, including registration at the University of Luxembourg. This amount includes the cost of the coaching during the period corresponding to the professional project, the handling of legal contracts, and the student memorandum.
