To apply for a programme at the University of Luxembourg, candidates must comply with the general eligibility criteria for the chosen programme type and be selected by the study programme based on the quality of their application.

Required Degree
Candidates for admission are required to hold a:
– Bachelor in IT or related field with three years of experience in the domain or
– Master in a related field with one year of experience in the domainIf your university diploma is not recognised under the Bologna Framework, you will also need to submit a recognition certificate issued by the Ministry of Research and Higher Education in Luxembourg.

If applicants meet the entry requirements, they will be invited to an interview. Their level of English will be assessed during the interview.

Requirements for Non-EU candidates
Non-EU applicants are required to be current residents of Luxembourg and hold a valid Luxembourgish residence permit to qualify.

Admissions process
Step 1 – Candidates are requested to submit a preselection application to missm@uni.lu, including a covering letter, CV and, if possible, a reference letter from the employer.
Step 2 – If applicants meet the entry requirements, they will be invited to an interview. Their level of English will be assessed during the interview.
Step 3 – Following approval by the course directors, applicants will then be required to submit their full application via the university portal.

Study programme
Our professional Master is a part-time training for those who already work (or who are unemployed but have previously worked in the field) and live in Luxembourg or the Greater Region (near the border of Luxembourg).
Non-EU applicants are required to be current residents of Luxembourg and hold a valid Luxembourgish residence permit to qualify.

Duration
The MISSM is part-time and is taught over two years.
The programme starts in September.

Timetable
Classes take place every two weeks in Belval (Fridays and Saturdays 9:00-12:15 and 13:30-16:45).
The final timetable will be shared with students at the start of the semester. -
Tuition fees
The total fee for the Master is 6400€ (1600€/semester), including registration at the University of Luxembourg. This amount includes the cost of the coaching during the period corresponding to the professional project, the handling of legal contracts, and the student memorandum.
