The Bachelor in Nursing Sciences – Speciality: Pediatry prepares students for advanced nursing practice in a clinical setting. It also enables students to continue their studies at Master’s level.

Learning outcomes
Students who complete the Bachelor in Nursing Sciences – Specialties develop advanced skills in specialist nursing practice in clinical settings. At the end of the Bachelor, students will be able to:
- Carry out direct specialist nursing practice with individuals-families-populations (bedside care)
- Orient and guide individuals-families-populations and care teams in complex health situations
- Mobilising specialist expertise during nursing consultations
- Base nursing practice on convincing results from scientific research
- Exercising nursing leadership
- Promoting inter-professional collaboration, including with the patient as a partner in care
- Ensure ethical decision-making
More specifically, the Pediatric Nurse will be required to:
- Carrying out an advanced assessment of the physical and mental health of individuals, families and populations
- Intervene in complex care situations
- Manage infectious and perioperative risks
- Ensuring continuity of care with autonomy and professionalism
- Carry out advanced care procedures in the context of perioperative care
- Prepare, maintain and monitor surgical instruments, linen and dressings required for surgical procedures
