Presentation
Students develop competencies in critical care nursing practice, clinical reasoning, and advanced nursing procedures in anaesthesia and resuscitation through theoretical courses, clinical education, tutorials, and interprofessional simulation activities.
Learning experiences take place in operating theatres, intensive care units, emergency departments, and specialised hospital environments, enabling students to understand the organisation of critical care and the role of the specialised nurse within anaesthesia and resuscitation teams.
The programme is delivered by the Department of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences in collaboration with nursing science academics and healthcare professionals working in anaesthesia and critical care settings.
