Required degree
The applicant must:
• hold a 180 ECTS Bachelor’s degree in educational sciences (or a comparable 180 ECTS higher education degree qualifying for teaching in fundamental school);
• be a practicing teaching professional in—or around—Luxembourg fundamental education;
• have already completed the mandatory traineeship (stage) for job starters at the Institut de formation de l’Éducation nationale (IFEN)

Language Skills
Be proficient in all three administrative languages (i.e., French, German, Luxembourgish) and have a reasonable command of English.

Documents
In addition to the documents required for enrolment at the University of Luxembourg, applicants must submit a curriculum vitae and a letter of motivation. These documents should cover the candidate’s academic and professional background (including continuing professional development activities), expectations of the study programme and professional objectives.

Recognition of prior experience (VAE)
Access to semester 5 (year 3) of the programme is possible via a request for recognition of prior experience for candidates with at least three years’ full-time professional experience in the field of education and pedagogy. The application will be assessed by a selection committee.
