The programme covers theory and methods in core domains of psychology reflecting particular research strengths within the Department of Behavioural and Cognitive Sciences.

In addition to the national accreditation by the Ministry for Higher Education and Research, the Master programme is also internationally accredited by the Accreditation, Certification and Quality Assurance Institute ACQUIN.

What do we offer our students?

Requirements

A broad-based training covering:

clinical psychology, including both mental disorders in adults and children, interviewing and intervention techniques
health psychology, focusing on theoretical aspects of health promotion and risks as well as methods to assess psychological and biological indicators relevant for health
media psychology, cultural psychology and school psychology

Outstanding research facilities

Students have access to state-of-the-art equipment for their research projects. Researchers from the Department of Behavioural and Cognitive Sciences support and advise students in all areas, from the experimental set-up to data-analysis.

A mix between theory and practice

The programme combines a solid theoretical training
with practical work experience. Students gain research practice during lab work. During
a 3-month internship in a professional work setting, they have the opportunity to put their knowledge into practice and further develop their professional skills.
