To apply for a programme at the University of Luxembourg, candidates must comply with the general eligibility criteria for the chosen programme type and be selected by the study programme based on the quality of their application.

Required Degree
Bachelor degree or equivalent (180 ECTS) in the field of anthropology, cultural studies, geography,
history, intercultural communication, law, linguistics, political science, sociology, spatial planning.
The Master in Border Studies benefits from the recognition and the support of the Université franco-allemande Deutsch-Französische Hochschule. Students may apply for mobility grants. -
Language Skills
B2 certificate German, French and English.

Procedure
A joint admission commission assumes the responsibility to select the candidates that fulfill the programme requirements and decides on their admission to the Master programme. Admission is limited to 20 students.
The programme is recognised and supported by the Franco-German University (UFA –Université franco-allemande).
The UFA supports you with a monthly grant of €350 during your stay abroad (for a maximum of 12 months, including the compulsory work placement), awards you a certificate on successful completion of your studies offers you the support of its network
To take advantage of the UFA’s support, you must register before 30 September of each new academic year.
Registration is free of charge.
