What do we offer our students?

Multicultural and multilingual study experience

Students take multilingual classes taught in three countries at four different universities:

  • University of Luxembourg,
  • University of Lorraine,
  • Saarland University,
  • RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau (formerly: Technische Universität Kaiserslautern)

Classes are shared alternatively on two sites for each semester. Successful students are awarded a joint diploma issued by the four universities.

Interdisciplinary study programme

They acquire the skills to play a crucial part in the increasing discussions on national and European identities, worldwide mobilities, migration, cultural diversity, citizenship and cross-border cooperation.

Between semester 2 and 3, students complete a mandatory internship in a professional setting working on topics related to Border Studies.
The internship gives student the opportunity to gain valuable insight into the professional work and to get hands-on knowledge about their future career path.
