Required Degree
Applicants are expected to have aptitude for analytical thinking. Undergraduate degrees in disciplines such as engineering/economics/physical sciences show aptitude for analytical thinking. Students with undergraduate degrees in humanities or other fields without an analytical core need to demonstrate analytical aptitude in other ways such scores on standardised tests (GMAT, GRE) or successful completion of the MIT online course in Supply Chain Analytics (https://www.edx.org/course/supply-chain-analytics). MIT SCALE programmes value diverse backgrounds of applicants.
In order to be eligible for the programme, the applicant needs to hold a Master’s equivalent degree, or a 4 or 5-year Bachelor’s degree (a minimum of 240 ECTS). Alternatively, candidates with a 3-year Bachelor degree (180 ECTS) might be admitted, if they have gained sufficient work experience that is deemed relevant and equivalent to the missing 60 ECTS. -

Overview
The tuition fees for the Master in Logistics and Supply Chain programme are €12,000 per semester, totalling €24,000 for the entire 10-month programme (2 semesters). As a Master 2 programme, you will enrol directly into Semester 3.
If you are successfully admitted, you will be asked to pay a 500€ non-refundable and non-transferable deposit to reserve your place on the programme. The deposit will be deducted from your tuition fees for the winter semester when you enrol.

Motivation letter
Length: 1-1.5 page of single-spaced text (500 words minimum)
Applicants must provide their reasons for wishing to do graduate work in supply chain management. Please prepare your statement of objectives and goals in whatever form clearly presents your views. Include as best you can, your particular interests, be they experimental, theoretical, or issue-oriented, and show how your background and our programme support these interests. Explain your long-term professional goals. We welcome any factors concerning your academic and work experience to date.
The statement should describe how you think, see and feel about the world and your professional objectives. You should set forth the issues or problems you want to address in the course of your studies, and the setting in which you eventually see yourself working professionally. Your honours, extracurricular activities, and other experiences can be integrated into your Statement of Objectives. However, do not re-create your CV or resume.
