About the Department of Finance
Locally anchored, the department contributes to the development of the Luxembourg financial sector while conducting internationally recognised research and publications in a wide variety of financial domains.
Management structure
Alongside the internal Management team, the Department of Finance also relies on the insight and support of an Advisory board. The Advisory Board comprises experts from the Luxembourg financial center as well as researchers in Finance from other Universities.
Its mission is to provide expertise and guidance to the Department of Finance in its teaching, research and outreach missions.
Teaching and research
Building partnerships to benefit students and researchers
Our four research groups, Asset Management, Institutions, Fintech and Sustainable Finance cover pure academic research as well as private-public partnerships in finance.
Our research aims at developing programmes and projects based on bilateral and well-balanced partnerships, especially with the financial center of Luxembourg.
