On 12 March 2025, the Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance (FDEF), in collaboration with its long-standing corporate partner Ferrero Luxembourg, celebrated the 2024-2025 Ferrero Fellows. The ceremony was held at Casa Ferrero, the company’s corporate headquarters. It brought together faculty members, Ferrero representatives, and students to recognize the new fellows and reinforce the partnership between the FDEF and Ferrero Luxembourg.
This year’s cohort, selected from a highly competitive applicant pool, was recognized for their academic performance, motivation, and commitment to both their studies and extracurricular activities:

- RAKOTONDRAVELO Irina – Master in Finance and Economics
- PELAGALLI Vittorio Pio – Master en Droit Européen
- BAYARAA Enkhnaran – Master in Accounting and Audit

Recognising Talent and Opportunity
The event began with a guided tour of Casa Ferrero, where students will start their internships next spring, followed by the formal ceremony.
Filippo Busceti, HR Director Ferrero Luxembourg, welcomed participants and provided insights into Ferrero’s history. He highlighted the Ferrero Fellowship’s impact, which has supported 37 fellows since 2017 through financial assistance and professional experience. Mr.Busceti also emphasized the significance of Ferrero’s partnership with FDEF in attracting top talent and integrating students into the workforce, stating,
‟ We are proud to introduce you to professional life.”

Next, Arnaud Dupuy, Vice-Dean of FDEF and Full Professor of Regional and International Economics, highlighted the eight-year partnership between the University and Ferrero. He emphasized the Fellowship’s role in offering financial support, practical learning experiences, and access to a professional network. Prof. Dupuy also acknowledged the program’s diversity and gender balance, recognizing the wide range of nationalities, backgrounds, and academic disciplines represented among current and former recipients.
Following the speeches, each fellow was presented with a certificate and a box of Ferrero treats. The ceremony concluded with a cocktail reception, where new fellows could connect with former fellows and other representatives from Ferrero and the University, marking the beginning of their professional journey.
About the Ferrero/University of Luxembourg Fellowship Program
The Ferrero Fellowship is a 2-year program between Ferrero Luxembourg and the University of Luxembourg (Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance) launched in 2017. Every year, Ferrero selects up to six students specializing in Accounting, Finance, Entrepreneurship and Law and sponsors them through an instalment scholarship and the possibility of a paid internship at the Ferrero Luxembourg Headquarters upon completion of their degree.
