A historic change

After 25 years of reign, H.R.H. The Grand Duke passed the sceptre to his son.

Throughout their reign, T.R.H. The Grand Duke & Duchess have served Luxembourg with dedication, dignity and bienveillance, always close to the people and attentive to the country’s development.

Their engagement has also underscored the societal importance of higher education, innovation, and scientific research in Luxembourg.

The University of Luxembourg is deeply grateful for the support of T.R.H. The Grand Duke & Duchess and extends its congratulations to the new grand-ducal couple.
