Orange Week @Uni.lu: join the film screening “Breathing underwater”

In honour of Orange Week, the University’s Gender equality office organises a screening of Eric Lamhène’s movie “Breathing underwater” (Hors d’haleine), a character-driven drama set in the world of a women’s shelter.

“Breathing underwater” is a Luxembourgish movie by Eric Lamhène nominated for an Academy Award. The event starts at 17.30 at the Maison du Savoir, on Belval Campus. The film team will be present, and the projection will be followed by an exchange on addressing gender-based violence.

From 25 November to 10 December 2025, the University of Luxembourg is joining Orange Week, the international campaign to raise awareness and take action against gender-based violence. The University of Luxembourg is deeply committed to fostering a safe and respectful environment. 
Several initiatives aim to raise awareness and promote equality, such as:
