Diplomas and Certificates

You can pick up your degree certificate at the SEVE from 15 December onwards at the SEVE office admission. Please take an appointment through the application “Affluences”, select the University of Luxembourg, then “Student Administration” and “RV inscription SEVE”.
If you cannot pick up your certificate at the SEVE in person, you may ask someone else to do so for you. This person will need a letter of proxy and a copy of your ID.
If you are abroad, please contact graduation@uni.lu and indicate your new address.

For doctoral students:

Diplomas were/will be either handed out personally (upon appointment with the office of doctoral studies) or sent by mail. For more information please contact: phdstudies@uni.lu

Please note that this procedure also applies to those graduates, who have not yet completed all necessary administrative steps and will therefore not receive a diploma during the ceremony.

Diplomas are issued in English, French and German.

Degree certificates will only be issued on condition that you have no outstanding debts with the University of Luxembourg (library, housing, etc.).
You will still be able to attend your graduation ceremony, but you will only receive your degree certificate once you have cleared your debts.

Go to Admission’s office with your original degree certificate.
Please take an appointment through the application “Affluences”, select the University of Luxembourg, then “Student Administration” and “Appointment SEVE registration”.

For doctoral graduates

A certified copy can be obtained anywhere at a notary’s office. The University can provide an official document (letter) indicating the dates of the study period. Please contact the Office of doctoral studies (BED) via e-mail in case of further questions.

For Bachelor and master graduates:

A new degree certificate will be printed. Please note that this may take up to one month.

For doctoral graduates:

Please contact the Office of doctoral studies (BED) via e-mail (phdstudies@uni.lu). We will check your request, and a new diploma will be issued in case of an error. Please note that this can take up to one month.

For Bachelor and Master graduates:

If you have lost your diploma, please write to graduation@uni.lu. A statement or a scanned copy of your diploma will be given to you.

For doctoral graduates:
