Change or withdrawal from programme

Change of programme

In order to request a change from one programme to another, the student is required to:

  • have applied to the desired study programme during the application period, and be admitted to the programme
  • inform the SEVE department of his/her intention to change study programme at the latest 2 weeks after the beginning of the winter semester

The validation of this change by the SEVE is subject to approval by the Study Programme Director.

A change of programme is not possible between winter semester and summer semester.

Withdraw from a programme (leave the University)

A student who wishes to cancel his or her registration must inform the SEVE department through the Student Service Portal and subsequently send his/her student card back to the SEVE department.

The registration fees already paid shall not be reimbursed under any circumstances.

The deregistration certificate is issued by the SEVE department upon request.
