Admission Criteria

Your situation

  • You want to apply for a Bachelor’s programme
  • You are an EU/EEA/Swiss citizen or a non-EU citizen with a valid Luxembourg residence permit
  • You have one of the following:
    • a Luxembourg secondary school leaving certificate
    • a Luxembourg secondary technical school leaving certificate
    • a Luxembourg secondary school leaving certificate in classical or general secondary education
    • a European School certificate

Your criteria

  • Diploma

    If you have not yet received your secondary school leaving certificate by the application period of your chosen study programme, you can still submit your application online. Make sure you do so within the deadline.

    Please note that we will require a diploma recognition document if you are a candidate with a secondary school diploma from one the following secondary schools in Luxembourg:

    • International School (International Baccalaureate)
    • Ecole privée Grandjean
    • St George’s International School
    • Lycée français du Luxembourg (Vauban)
    • Fräi-ëffentlech-Waldorfschoul Lëtzebuerg

      How to proceed

    If your application is accepted, you will receive a letter of conditional admission. You will have until 15 November during your first study semester to submit your certificate via our platform. You will then be sent a final admission letter.

    Please note that if you are not able to finalise your enrolment, it is not possible to defer admission to the next academic year.
    You will have to apply from scratch, with a new ID number, and upload your documents again. The rules on application fees, language certificates, etc. will apply to you as they do for any new candidate.
    Acceptance for a previous academic year does not guarantee acceptance of any subsequent applications.

  • Deadline

    You already have a Luxembourgish residence permit, or do not require one.

    Please submit your application by the deadline applicable for EU/EEA/Swiss citizens indicated on your programme web page.

    Make sure that you check the specific deadline for your study programme. Deadlines vary from one programme to the next.

  • Language Skills

    You will need to show proof of your language skills at the level indicated for your chosen study programme.
