Our goal is to help you prepare for a world of great opportunities. We offer tailored support and advice, and we work with you to identify your aspirations, strengths, potential, talents and passions.

Alumni
You will spend a few years as students but will spend the rest of your lives as alumni. When you finish your studies, the Alumni Network will be there to help you get started in the professional world with the GradPack, an exclusive package of benefits available to our newest alumni. The GradPack includes an @alumni.uni.lu email address, continued access to services from the Career Centre, as well as discounts and memberships from networking partners like Paperjam, several Chambers of Commerce, and others.

Sustainability Office
The University’s sustainability team aims at further integrating sustainable development in the institution’s activities and operations. We also raise awareness on sustainable issues within the community. And finally, we take actions. Indeed, we want to build bridges and launch joint projects with researchers and students to integrate sustainability on campus.
The campus is yours, and we want to help you become part of its transformation. So don’t be shy.

University of Luxembourg
Incubator and
Entrepreneurship ProgrammeEntrepreneurship Programme allows students across all faculties to participate in initiatives that train skills essential to be successful in business. The University of Luxembourg Incubator is there to support ventures in bringing their ideas to the market. We also invite business experts from Luxembourg and abroad to share their story and to provide advice so students have an opportunity to establish new contacts, step-by-step building a valuable business network.

Luxembourg Learning Centre
The Luxembourg Learning Centre (LLC) welcomes you at the University. Here is the essential information for a good start at the University:
- Take part in a guided tour during the Welcome Day at 11.00 (French and English), 11.30 (French and Luxemburgish), 13.30 (English) and 14.00 (French). A registration for those guided tours is required at our Stand located in the MSA.
- Register with the LLC to full take advantage of the LLC services and resources to help undertake your studies. Registration is possible at the LLC Welcome Zone Monday to Friday 8.00 to 17.00 and Saturday 10.00 to 13.00 and 14.00 to 17.00.

International Relations

International Relations Office
Student mobility is strongly promoted at the University of Luxembourg. One semester abroad is compulsory for all Bachelor students and many exchange opportunities are also on offer for Master or PhD students.

University of the Greater Region
The University of the Greater Region informs you about the possibility to attend classes at the partner universities in the neighbouring countries without additional enrolment fees. Benefit of the offers of the UniGR network and study in 4 countries (Luxembourg, Germany, Belgium and France) at the same time!

EurIdentity Certificate
The EurIdentity Certificate is an additional qualification open to all students of the UniGR network, no matter which academic discipline they are studying. If you’re looking to strengthen your knowledge about Europe and develop your intercultural skills, the EurIdentity Certificate programme is for you. Interested students can participate in the EurIdentity Certificate Welcome Day event on 26 of September 2025.

Sophia University
Sophia University (Tokyo, Japan) welcomes actively global exchange students. The Sophia Luxembourg office was established in 2012 (MSA). 9 top students of the University of Luxembourg participate in Sophia Summer programme.

Student Associations & Clubs
To be part of a student association and student life in general is paramount to having a positive university experience. Student Associations provide students with valuable skills such as the ability to work in a team environment, to engage with the University beyond academics, and to belong to a family away from home. This type of engagement is essential for taking full advantage of the “University Experience”.

Campus Radio
Campus Radio is the place where you can talk about your own topics, encouters at the uni, nice projects happening at or around the uni or your favourite music. Confucius Institute
The Confucius Institute at the University of Luxembourg offers General Chinese (Mandarin) courses on Belval and Kirchberg Campuses at all levels. These courses are free for all students and ECTS are allocated.
The Confucius Institute will have Chinese opera workshops near their stand on the 3rd floor.

Language Centre
The Language Centre aims to enhance the multilingual skills of students by offering language and communication courses and tools for academic, professional and general purposes.

Espace cultures
Espace cultures seeks to add a cultural dimension to the main tasks of the University of Luxembourg, namely learning and research. With this in mind, Espace cultures runs and coordinates cultural events, supports artistic projects and creativity in various sectors and connects people on and off campus.
Espace cultures will have a stand on the ground floor of Maison du Savoir (MSA) and will be accompanied by the following cultural guests:
- Belval Express Theater troop (outside next to the piano)
- Cercle symphonique de Rumelange
- Kulturpass
- Réseau (Luxembourgeois des Centres Culturels Régionaux)

The programme will include quizzes and a draw to win tickets offered by Espace cultures and some of its partners.
