The “Book a Librarian” (BaL) service is a personalised reference service for members of the University of Luxembourg offered by the librarians in the Luxembourg Learning Centre. As a Bachelor, Master or PhD student, are you struggling to define your research question for an assignment, dissertation or thesis? Are you a member of staff who would like to consult resources specific to your subject but don’t know where to find them? Or are you lost in a maze of bibliographic references and keen to learn how to use a bibliography management tool? Feel free to contact the librarians via firstname.lastname@example.org and describe your request and your needs. You will then be able to make an appointment with a librarian in a dedicated space in the LLC for some more targeted advice.
The BaL service is only available to members of the University of Luxembourg.
Appointments can be made for up to three people at a time. If the group is larger, the interested users can contact email@example.com to set up a group training course.
Requests must be submitted via firstname.lastname@example.org.
Users will be asked to provide any necessary personal information as well as any relevant information needed to prepare the appointment.
We are committed to getting back to users within three working days.
Appointments can be made from Monday to Friday between 10.00 and 17.00 (only on days when the library is open).
The user must confirm the proposed date at least 48 hours in advance. If a confirmed appointment cannot be kept, the user must cancel the appointment in advance.

Users will be asked to arrive on time at the Meeting Point in the Welcome Zone of the Luxembourg Learning Centre (LLC).
