During Luxembourg’s National Holiday on Monday 23 June 2025, you can participate in a fun and interactive science workshop called “Environmental Detectives” at the Luxembourg Science Center. Come by at 12:00, 14:00 and 15:00 to listen to the “toxic tales”: Can you identify the chemical villains that poisoned several animals in Luxembourg? Play this game to learn more about different chemicals and their effect on the environment.
The workshop is available for free in the context of a general admission ticket to the Luxembourg Science Center (0-15€). This workshop is offered in a bilingual mode (English and French). It is recommended for people above 12 years of age. More workshops will be offered at the Luxembourg Science Center during the summer holidays (see below). To stay up to date and check out all the offers visit descom.uni.lu.
The workshop is carried out by students of the University of Luxembourg in the context of a DESCOM training supported by the Faculty of Science, Technology and Medicine (FSTM). Parviel Chirsir is a doctoral candidate at the Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine (LCSB) and Franco Catuogno is a doctoral candidate at the Luxembourg Institute of Health (LIH).
