  • Description Institute

    The Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR) is the main funder of research activities in Luxembourg. We invest public funds and private donations into research projects in various branches of science and the humanities, with an emphasis on selected core strategic areas. Furthermore, we support and coordinate activities to strengthen the link between science and society and to raise awareness for research. In the domain of “Science in Society” the FNR aims to stimulate and reward the promotion of science as well as the exchange between science and society by offering a variety of exchange instruments.

  • Description Internship

    Depending on the language skills of the candidate, the intern will work on the following projects:

    • science.lu
    • science.lu social media
    • Mr Science (if candidate speaks/understands Luxembourgish)

    Depending on the profile and interests of the applicant and current needs of the FNR, alternative projects may be discussed and agreed upon prior to the start of the internship.

  • Entry requirements

    • Working as a doctoral candidate in Luxembourg

    Language:

    • Perfect language and writing skills in either French or German
    • Good understanding of English
    • Understanding of Luxembourgish or understanding of both German
      AND French is an advantage
  • Logistical requirements

    • Working hours will be discussed during the interview
    • The candidate, if chosen, needs to sign a confidentiality agreement

    • Interview and writing test; only after this interview/test the FNR will decide whether we accept the candidate or not
