The Luxembourg Centre for Contemporary and Digital History (C²DH) promotes an interdisciplinary approach to the study of contemporary Luxembourgish and European history with a particular focus on new digital methods and tools for historical research, teaching and dissemination. Its communication team is dedicated to promoting understanding and awareness of contemporary and digital history.

Description Internship
Project Management in GLAM institutions
The Histofest. History on full blast is a history festival launched in 2025 with the aim of bringing history and historical research closer to the public while at the same time trying out different ways of doing public history. In the context of the 2026 edition of the Histofest (October 7-9, 2026) and the “Histofest Encounters” event series following the festival, the C2DH is seeking an intern to help with the organization and promotion of the festival, on-site logistical execution, and post-event reporting and evaluation.

Entry requirements
- Working as a doctoral candidate in Luxembourg
- Currently enrolled in an graduate program in Humanities.
- Strong passion for effective science communication.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of digital video creation tools and social media platforms.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Logistical requirements
- 50-90 hours in total.
