    The Luxembourg Centre for Contemporary and Digital History (C²DH) promotes an interdisciplinary approach to the study of contemporary Luxembourgish and European history with a particular focus on new digital methods and tools for historical research, teaching and dissemination. Its communication team is dedicated to promoting understanding and awareness of contemporary and digital history.

  • Description Internship

    Digital Science Communication Internship

    We are seeking for a passionate and motivated student to join as a Digital Science Communication Intern with a focus on the C²DH Alumni community. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in science communication while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.

  • Content

    • Create engaging digital stories about C²DH Alumni (videos, articles…).
    • Assist in engaging alumni and moderating our alumni community.
    • Collaborate with the team to develop new digital initiatives.
  • Entry requirements

    • Working as a doctoral candidate in Luxembourg
    • Currently enrolled in an graduate program in Humanities.
    • Strong passion for effective science communication.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Basic knowledge of digital video creation tools and social media platforms.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Logistical requirements

    • 50 hours in total.
    • Flexible working hours and the possibility of remote work.
  • Application

    • Interested candidates should submit their CV a cover letter explaining their interest in science communication, and, if available, examples of their previous works.
    • They will be invited for an interview and a writing test; only after this test we will decide whether we accept the candidate or not.
