Mediahuis Luxembourg is the largest media group in Luxembourg and publishes, among others, the titles Luxembourg Times, Virgule, Télécran, Contacto and the oldest newspaper in Luxembourg, Luxemburger Wort, which is the market leader in quality and reaches more than 150,000 readers daily through its printed newspaper and more than 100,000 readers through its news site. Title of the internship: Science journalism project

The internship will include a general introduction into the basics of journalistic work and a newsroom. The intern will practice journalistic writing in preparing a few short news stories under the supervision of an experienced journalist. For the most part of the internship, the intern will work on a specific project that is loosely related to his/ her field of expertise, for example a long-form story on Parkinson’s disease, multimedia story on historical research in Luxembourg, data analytics etc., The topic will be developed and elaborated in discussion and collaboration with the intern. He / she will be supported by the internship supervisor.

• Working as a doctoral candidate in Luxembourg
• Language: Preferably German, Strong English-Skills also acceptable
• No specific scientific background needed
• Candidates should be highly motivated, creative
