We are GetBrainHealthy, a team with expertise in neuroscience, psychology, public health, and science communication at the University of Luxembourg’s Faculty of Humanities, Social Sciences and Education (FHSE). Our mission is to promote brain health science through workshops, social media, events, campaigns and other activities. We aim to bridge the gap between research and public understanding, empowering individuals with knowledge to improve their cognitive health and well-being.

The internship begins with an introduction to the team and an overview of ongoing and upcoming projects. Depending on the timing, the intern may contribute to different aspects of our outreach work. This can include organizational tasks for events (such as workshops or outreach events), creative input for social media and communication materials, and, when possible, direct involvement in interactive activities with diverse audiences. The focus may vary between behind-the-scenes preparation and hands-on engagement. The intern will also have the chance to support science communication through blogs, social media content, and other channels, gaining insight into both the planning and creative processes of public engagement.

• Working as a doctoral candidate in Luxembourg
• Language: English is required. Knowledge of German, French, Luxembourgish, or Portuguese is a strong advantage
• no specific scientific background needed, but a background in psychology, biology, neuroscience is an advantage

• 50-90 hours in total
