“Finding the shortest path? Thanks to graph theory!”
This workshop focuses on graph theory and the participants have the opportunity to see how different theoretical concepts can be introduced through examples from daily life, for example logistics and planning. They can actively participate in various practical exercises, to test by themselves the concepts addressed by the workshop.
This workshop in Luxembourgish covers among others topics:
- The problem of the seven bridges of Königsberg
- Eulerian and semi-Eulerian graphs
- Dijkstra’s algorithm to find the shortest path
- The Traveling Salesman problem
- Applications of graph theory in daily life
