Baloise Assurances Luxembourg SA and Baloise Vie Luxembourg SA Fellowship & Internship
The University of Luxembourg signed a partnership agreement with Baloise Assurances Luxembourg SA and Baloise Vie Luxembourg SA in February 2020 providing a framework for a student fellowship and internship programme.

Eligibility criteria
Applicants are eligible for the scholarship programme if they are:
- Selected as a student on the Master in European and International Tax Law
- Committed to undertaking full-time studies in the Master in European and International Tax Law

Duration
The cumulated stipend and internship duration may not surpass three years, the standard length of a Bachelor programme.

Amount
- A monthly stipend of €300 for the regular duration of the Bachelor programme (semester 4-6 for the Bachelor en Gestion and semester 5-6 for the Bachelor in Economics)
- An internship in one of its departments
The internship semester will not be covered by the stipend but will be paid according to Baloise internship rules.

Application procedure
Applicants are invited to submit the following documents (in English, French or German):
- a letter of motivation, indicating which department of Baloise the candidate would like to join during the internship
- a CV, including copies of their diplomas, certificates and official supplements to these
- proof of their parents’ income confirmed by a copy of the previous year’s tax return
- their family status
- proof of residence in Luxembourg or the Greater Region of Luxembourg
- an enrolment certificate at the University of Luxembourg (if selected, the student will have to submit such a certificate of enrolment to Baloise each semester)

Selection procedure
- academic performance
- general effort and progress of the student in his/her academic performance
- the ethos and motivation of the applicant
A Selection Committee composed of the Head of Human Resources and another Head of Baloise (Operations or Corporate Governance) will evaluate the applications based on the selection criteria outlined above.
The management of Baloise Assurances Luxembourg S.A. and Baloise Vie Luxembourg S.A. will then validate the final selection of scholarship recipients.
