The project at a glance
We are looking for adults aged 60 and older to join the DIGITRACK study, which aims to improve health assessments for older adults through innovative technologies and methods.
The study combines cutting-edge sensor-based mobility tracking, standardised clinical evaluations, and patient-reported outcomes to create a comprehensive tool for understanding geriatric health. By participating, you will contribute to advancing geriatric care and help shape better tools for monitoring and treating age-related health challenges.
This study will take place at the four long-term care facilities of ZithaSenior S.A. in Luxembourg and includes both in-patient and out-patient populations.
We are looking for participants who meet the following criteria:
- Aged 60 or older.
- Able to walk 6 meters unassisted (with or without a walking aid).
- Receiving care at Zitha facilities (in-patient or out-patient).
- Have a Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) score of 21 or higher.
By participating, you will help us:
- Develop a composite monitoring score for geriatric health, integrating objective data and clinical evaluations.
- Improve the ability to detect health changes over time, enabling more personalised and effective treatments.
- Advance tools to monitor mobility, grip strength, and other key health indicators in older adults.
