The Bachelor in Health Sciences – Medical Technical Radiology Assistant provides high-quality academic and clinical training in the field of medical imaging and radiotherapy. Students will gain a solid understanding of radiology, nuclear medicine, radiation therapy, as well as all the transversal skills necessary to practice this profession in Luxembourg or within the European Union.

Presentation
The University of Luxembourg offers a unique three-year Bachelor’s programme that combines academic training with hands-on professional experience in a multilingual learning environment. The curriculum integrates theoretical instruction, clinical practice and international mobility opportunities. Students train in state-of-the-art facilities using virtual simulation tools and develop professional competencies through clinical placements in hospital settings. They will also complete internships abroad. Together, these elements prepare graduates to work as medical imaging professionals in healthcare systems across Europe.
This programme is managed by the Department of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences. The academic team includes professors in medical imaging from the University of Luxembourg, as well as experts working in clinical and research institutions.
