The programme at a glance – 180 ECTS
The Bachelor in Nursing Sciences covers all the theories and methodologies of nursing research, as well as eco-nursing. Other modules are dedicated to specialised care and include theory courses, tutorials and inter-professional simulation laboratories.
The Bachelor in Nursing Sciences is run by the Department of Life Sciences and Medicine. The academic team is made up of professors with expertise in nursing science, as well as field experts with knowledge of the Grand Duchy’s healthcare environment.
Professional university training
This Bachelor enables to develop advanced nursing skills and promote evidence-based practice in a specific area of nursing specialisation. It also aims to promote interprofessional collaboration for patient safety. In addition, professional certifications are included in the programme.
This programme combines theoretical training using innovative and interactive methods with practical training in hospital and out-of-hospital care environments. Simulation laboratory training shared with other disciplines is also included.
The Bachelor in Nursing Sciences also offers the possibility to be accompanied by a mentor throughout the study programme.
