Yannick BUSCHHARDT

Yannick Buschhardt is a PhD student in the Department Physics and Materials Science at the University of Luxembourg. He is member of the group Surface and Interface Physics led by Professor Alex Redinger.

Yannick Buschhardt’s research focuses on synthesising chalcogenide perovskites via low-temperature routes, targeting phase-pure materials around 600 °C. He develops and optimises heat-treatment protocols to achieve well-defined crystal structures. He employs analytical techniques (PL, SEM, Raman spectroscopy, etc.) to characterise their phase composition and optical properties.

Yannick Buschhardt completed his Bachelor’s degree at the University of Bayreuth and his Master’s degree at the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg..
