As a part of an experimental group focusing on magnetic small-angle neutron scattering (SANS), Stefan’s efforts lie in theoretical investigations, aiming to bridge the gap between micromagnetic and quantum simulations and their realization in neutron experiments. Using techniques such as Density Matrix Renormalisation Group, he is currently studying spin-spin correlations and entanglement of the low-excited spectra of spin lattices with strongly anisotropic DMI.
