Michele is deeply committed to science outreach. He co-founded the Energy4Life website (e4l) and contributed to designing its associated workshops in collaboration with the Physics and Sustainability Scienteens Lab.
These workshops target high-school students, helping them explore the concepts of power and energy, reflect on their own energy consumption, and discuss what transitioning to 100% renewable energy could mean in practice.
He also takes part in public science events such as the Science Festival and Researchers’ Days.
Since 2022, Michele has been a member of the Go-To-Team, a support group within the Doctoral School that serves as a first point of contact for doctoral candidates and their supervisors. The team provides a safe and confidential environment for dialogue, helping students and supervisors find constructive solutions to challenges that may arise during doctoral studies.
Michele also serves as the Local Safety Officer for the University laboratories located in the LIST building in Belvaux, where he coordinates with both institutions and delivers safety training to new members.
