Churchill Benahili AGONI

Churchill Benahili Agoni is a doctoral researcher in the field of soft matter physics in the Department of Physics and Materials Science at the University of Luxembourg. He is a member of the Experimental Soft Matter Physics group led by Professor Jan Lagerwall.

Churchill’s research focus lies on production stabilization and characterization of ferroelectric nematic and cholesteric shells and droplets.

Churchill previously taught Physics and Mathematics for over a decade in Nigeria, including at an all-girls Federal Government College.

Attendance at the Frontiers in Optics and Laser Science Conference (2023, USA). Interested in technology transfer and partnerships within the SHADOW project.

Selected for Optica’s Student Leadership Program (2024, Denver, USA).
