Word of the Dean: Happy festive season

Dear Colleagues, Dear FSTM Fans,

It is with great pleasure that I share some wonderful news with you. Stephanie Kreis and Francesco Viti have been promoted to the rank of Full Professors, while Mael Gennou has advanced to Associate Professor and Grégoire Danoy to Assistant Professor.

I would also like to extend my congratulations to Prof. Anupam Sengupta for securing a prestigious ERC Consolidator Grant—an outstanding achievement that reflects the excellence of our research community.

Finally, I am delighted to announce that Stefanie Oestlund will assume the role of Head of Finance and Administration for FSTM as of January 1, 2026.

These accomplishments highlight the strength and dedication of our faculty and staff. With all this great news, I wish you and your families a joyful holiday season and a successful year ahead!
