This month marked a momentous occasion as we celebrated the accomplishments of our 2023 graduates at the Faculty. Among them were 165 individuals earning bachelor’s degrees, 184 achieving master’s degrees, 67 specialised and vocational trainings and 134 attaining PhDs. These numbers not only reflect a consistent growth trend over the past few years but also underscore the research-centric nature of our institution.

At the heart of our educational philosophy is the belief that knowledge transfer is most effectively achieved through robust academic programmes. By fostering an environment that encourages active participation, students contribute to the development of groundbreaking discoveries through project-based teaching and internship opportunities.

This year, we proudly acknowledge the University’s vital role in meeting the country’s needs. Noteworthy achievements include the inaugural graduation of the full bachelor’s programme in medicine, the establishment of four new bachelor’s programmes in nursing sciences, and the first graduates of the master’s programmes in data science and technopreneurship. Additionally, we are currently preparing for the launch of three additional bachelor’s programmes in nursing.

Looking ahead to 2024, our commitment to innovation remains unwavering. New initiatives in quantum computing, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and computational sciences will foster collaboration across departments, creating a bridge to the Luxembourg ecosystem. This interdisciplinary approach will drive both research and education to new heights.

As the Dean’s office, we extend our warmest wishes for a joyful conclusion to the year and a peaceful and prosperous 2024. May the spirit of the season bring you joy, and may the coming year be filled with success and fulfillment.
