Samira Chaychi, LuxQuantum
Samira Chaychi is a computer scientist and University of Luxembourg alumna. She co-founded LuxQuantum, a start-up tackling secure interoperability between traditional and quantum cybersecurity tools. Motivated by the urgency of protecting sensitive data before quantum computers become mainstream, Samira is developing hybrid solutions that combine Post-Quantum Cryptography and Quantum Key Distribution. Her journey from PhD researcher to entrepreneur was supported by the University’s incubator, where she gained the skills and confidence to launch her venture in Luxembourg’s growing quantum ecosystem.
Muriel-Larissa Frank
Muriel-Larissa Frank is a Research Scientist at the University of Luxembourg, where her work focuses on the human aspects of cybersecurity, including online fraud, the impact of security policies, cyber resilience, and the influence of emerging technologies on security behaviors. In parallel, she serves as Vice President of Women4Cyber Luxembourg, where she is committed to promoting diversity in cybersecurity and actively supports initiatives that inspire future generations of women to engage with the field and consider careers in cybersecurity.
Adnan Imeri, LIST
Adnan Imeri holds PhD in Computer Science from the University of Paris-Saclay (UEVE) and the University of Luxembourg, focusing on blockchain technology and its applicability in real-world use cases. His current research interest is mainly associated with blockchain technology, the implementation of blockchain-based use cases, the integration of blockchain and the Internet of Things (IoT), and many other related research use cases.
Peter Roenne, University of Luxembourg
Peter Roenne received his PhD in theoretical physics in 2007 from the University of Copenhagen. His research is focused on cryptographic protocols with particular emphasis on security and usability in e-voting.
Jelena Zelenovic Matone, European Institution
Jelena Z. Matone is an Italian-Canadian information security specialist and advocate for women’s empowerment in technology. She is best known for her role as the CISO of European Investment Bank and Founding Board Member and the first President of the Women Cyber Force & Women 4 Cyber (W4C) chapter, a global initiative aimed at promoting cybersecurity awareness, education, and gender equality in the industry.
