His research focuses on quantum and statistical physics, with a particular emphasis on the dynamics of phase transitions in Bose-Einstein condensates, aiming to extend the predictions of the Kibble-Zurek mechanism.
Teaching
He was a teaching assistant for the Bachelor’s course in statistical physics during the fall of 2023.
Educational background
Matteo Massaro obtained his Bachelor in Physics at the University of Pisa in Italy, and his Master degree in Theoretical Physics at the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands.
