Green ammonia as a hydrogen vector

Efficient global transport of green hydrogen
The rapid expansion of european hydrogen consumption in industry and mobility will require vastly increased production of green hydrogen, more than can be realistically produced using existing electrolyser and renewable energy resources. To fill this gap, very substantial imports of green hydrogen are required and this will likely be achieved using a chemical hydrogen carrier such as ammonia.
