Unlocking Security, Ensuring Trust

The Security and Trust of Software Systems (SaToSS) group, led by Prof. Sjouke Mauw, is focused on formalizing and applying formal reasoning to real–world security problems and trust issues.

SaToSS research group

The group was established on January 1st, 2007, within the Computer Science and Communications (CSC) research unit of the Faculty of Science, Technology and Communication3 (FSTC) of the University of Luxembourg. Since January 1st, 2020, FSTC has been reorganised and integrated into the Faculty of Science, Technology and Medicine (FSTM) and CSC has become the Department of Computer Science (DCS). SaToSS is part of the laboratories LACS and ComSys, and has a strong connection to the Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT).
