To celebrate International Women in Engineering Day, the GirlsinSciTech campaign presents a new video spotlighting the story of Lisa Jungerwirth, Advisor on Sustainable Energy Transition at Klima-Agence.

Lisa’s path into engineering began with a simple fascination for numbers. As a teenager, she was captivated by the logic and structure of mathematics, a passion that soon blossomed into a deeper interest in science and technology. Over time, that curiosity evolved into a clear purpose: using her skills to support renewable energy and environmental protection.

In 2021, she graduated with a Bachelor in Engineering from the University of Luxembourg, and today she plays a vital role in the national shift toward renewable energy through her work at Klima-Agence.

Her journey is a powerful reminder that engineering is not just about equations and systems. It’s about shaping a better, more sustainable world, and there’s space for more women to lead the way.

The career perspectives for engineers are very good and women are specially welcomed. If you are passionate about science mathematics and technology, then start your career in engineering!”
