Quantum effects at mesoscopic scales
Our group pursues a wide range of research interests within the realm of mesoscopic systems. With typical length scales of nanometers to micrometers, mesoscopic systems are already rather large compared to quantum systems like atoms and molecules. Nevertheless, they can display a plethora of interesting quantum phenomena, such as interference effects and many-particle quantum dynamics. We use various analytical and numerical techniques to study such systems.
