Specific information for this programme

  • Required Degree

    Candidates for admission to the MEEE are required to hold Bachelor degree in engineering or related field.

    This study programme is committed to excellence. It runs consecutively to the University’s Bachelor’s in Engineering (professional) of the Energy and Environment Sector. Direct admission from this bachelor’s is possible based on good results without any supplemental conditions.

    Students with other Bachelor degrees and good grades are encouraged to apply.
    Other engineering sciences graduates (e.g. civil, mechanical, electrical…) can be admitted without conditions. To be admitted without conditions the following lectures from our consecutive bachelor’s degrees should be considered as minimum requirements:
    Mathematics (18 ECTS)
    Electrotechnics and electrical installation (9 ECTS)
    Thermodynamics (8 ECTS)
    Combustion machines (18 ECTS)
    Hydraulic machines (4 ECTS)
    Building physics (4 ECTS)
    Combustion and fuel (3 ECTS)
    Heating technology, Ventilation and air conditioning (4 ECTS)

    Admissions from programmes other than from the consecutive bachelor’s degrees are subject to certain conditions, which should to be discussed on an individual basis with the study director.

    – If the Bachelor’s was taught through English, a document from the previous University/Institution certifying the completion of the programme is needed.
