The Master in Social Sciences and Educational Sciences prepares students to be able to address the key challenges posed by changes in schooling, vocational training, and higher education and science as well as informal, inclusive and lifelong learning. What do we offer our students?

A multidisciplinary approach

Students learn to analyse and solve problems by using the approaches and methodologies of a variety of academic disciplines, including sociology, educational science and political science.

Seminar-based teaching

In discussion-rich seminars, students explore developments and challenges, from global to local, as they learn to make sense of cultural, socio-economic and political characteristics of educational and social welfare systems and wider societal contexts.

Research-based programme with intensive mentoring

Mentoring by internationally known scholars in the social and educational sciences is paired with opportunities to contribute to cutting-edge research projects at the University of Luxembourg and affiliated research institutes and centres.
